Established in 1984 Scott H. Marcus & Associates, provides businesses and individuals with outstanding legal services in a variety of practice areas.

Scott H. Marcus, President
Scott Marcus has been in private practice since 1977, after completing a judicial clerkship with two Superior Court judges. Scott attended Rutgers College, graduating with honors, and then attended Rutgers Law School, Camden, graduating in 1976.
Scott began his own practice in 1982, moving the practice to its current location in 1990. The firm remains committed to excellence in client service and has grown to include four attorneys, paralegals and support staff.
Scott is the former Chancellor of Rutgers Law School Alumni Association and former Solicitor for the Washington Township Chamber of Commerce. He also has served on the District IV fee Arbitration Committee. Scott has an extensive background in commercial litigation, real estate development, collections and all aspects of bankruptcy practice. Scott is active in numerous civic and charitable organizations and is currently on the board of directors of Archway School Foundation and The American Red Cross, South Jersey Chapter. He has been married for 37 years and is the father of two daughters. Scott Marcus was honored as Recipient of the Rick Zammer business Hall of fame Award by the Washington Township chamber of Commerce in 2008.
Andrew L. Unterlack, Associate
Andrew L. Unterlack joined the Law Offices of Scott H. Marcus & Associates, P.C. in December, 2007. Prior to joining the Firm, Andrew practiced for approximately three years in a Creditors' Rights firm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and prior to that for six years as a general practitioner in New York. Andrew's Creditors' Rights experience includes serving a variety of clients, including financial institutions, capital companies and equipment lessors in loan workout, bankruptcy and other commercial litigation matters. Andrew's general practice concentration includes bankruptcy, collections, real estate, estate planning, estate administration and other civil litigation. Andrew is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science, received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Miami in 1995 and his Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law in 1998.
Andrew is admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as several Federal Courts, including the Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Middle District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. Andrew is a member of the Camden County Bar Association in addition to various local business organizations.
Andrew relocated to Southern New Jersey in 2004, and has been married for 13 years and is the father of two sons.
Andrew currently supervises the Firm's collection department.
Amar A. Agrawal, Associate
Amar A. Agrawal joined the Law Offices of Scott H. Marcus & Associates, P.C. in May 2009. Prior to joining the firm, Amar was a Senior Paralegal and Administrative Supervisor at a personal injury firm in Philadelphia, PA for five years, dealing primarily with toxic torts. Amar's general practice areas include commercial litigation, real estate transactions, construction disputes, collection matters, foreclosures, estate matters and other complex civil litigation.
Amar is a graduate of Vineland High School in Vineland, NJ and received his Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice and Economics from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, NJ in 2004. Amar received his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, NJ while maintaining full time employment with the firm.
Amar is presently admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, District of New Jersey and Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Bankruptcy Court for New Jersey and Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to moving back to the United States, Amar lived in India for ten years, and is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati. He is a resident of Sicklerville, NJ and is an avid Philadelphia area sports fan. Amar is a member of various local organizations including the Washington Township Chamber of Commerce, South Jersey Chamber of Commerce and BNI – Turnersville.

Carrie Boyle, Associate
Carrie Boyle received her Juris Doctorate degree from Rutgers Law School in 2008. While in law school, Carrie maintained full time employment with the Goldenberg Group and was very actively involved in the Rutgers Law Pro Bono Bankruptcy project. Carrie joined the firm in October 2010.
Prior to joining Scott H. Marcus & Associates, Carrie served as counsel to Gloucester Township in the acquisition of real property and development of a senior housing complex; she practices general civil litigation in the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey; and she represents and litigates on behalf of Consumer and Business Debtors in Bankruptcy, in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.
Carrie's Bankruptcy practice at Scott H. Marcus & Associates provides comprehensive representation for business and consumer Debtors in Chapters 7, 11 and 13 as well as representing Creditor's interests in these matters.
Carrie is an accomplished violinist who performed with the symphony orchestra in Wilmington, NC for four years, a PADI certified scuba diver and a skiing enthusiast.
