Established in 1984 Scott H. Marcus & Associates, provides businesses and individuals with outstanding legal services in a variety of practice areas.

Scott H. Marcus, President
Scott Marcus, the President of Scott H. Marcus & Associates, graduated from Rutgers Law School, and has been practicing law for more than 30 years. Scott moved his practice to Washington Township in 1990, and continues to serve the local community as well as the region at large. The firm remains committed to excellence in client service, and has grown to include a full staff of attorneys, paralegals, and support personnel.
Scott is the former Chancellor of Rutgers Law School Alumni Association, and former Solicitor for the Washington Township Chamber of Commerce. He also has served on the District IV Fee Arbitration Committee. Scott has an extensive background in commercial litigation, real estate development, collections, and all aspects of bankruptcy practice.
Scott is active in numerous civic and charitable organizations, and is currently the solicitor for Woodcrest Country Club. He has been married for 32 years and is the father of two daughters.
Scott Marcus was honored as Recipient of the Rick Zammer Business Hall of Fame Award by the Washington Township Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Wedgewood County Club. The award was presented by Chamber President John P. Campbell in recognition of Scott’s contribution to the Community and the Chamber. Mayor and Assemblyman Paul Moritary also presented Mr. Marcus with a proclamation from the State of New Jersey.
Andrew L. Unterlack, Associate
Andrew L. Unterlack joined the Law Offices of Scott H. Marcus & Associates, P.C. in December of 2007. Prior to joining the Firm, Andrew practiced for approximately three years in a Creditors' Rights firm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and prior to that for six years as a general practitioner in New York. Andrew's Creditors' Rights experience includes serving a variety of clients, including financial institutions, capital companies and equipment lessors in loan workout, bankruptcy and other commercial litigation matters. Andrew's general practice concentration includes bankruptcy, collections, real estate, wills and related documents, probate/administration of estates and other civil litigation.
Andrew is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science, received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Miami in 1995 and his Juris Doctoral from Hofstra University School of Law in 1998. Andrew is admitted to practice in the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania state courts. Additionally, Andrew is admitted to practice in the Federal Courts (including Bankruptcy Courts) of the Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Middle District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.
Andrew relocated to Southern New Jersey in 2004, although he still maintains his allegiance to his New York sports teams. He has been married for nine years and is the father of two sons.
Andrew is dedicated to applying his diverse background to serve the needs of our individual clients.
Amar A. Agrawal, Associate
Amar A. Agrawal joined the Law Offices of Scott H. Marcus & Associates, P.C. in May of 2009. Prior to joining the firm, Amar was a Senior Paralegal and an Administrative Supervisor at a personal injury firm in Philadelphia, PA for five years, dealing primarily with toxic torts. He currently attends Rutgers University School of Law in Camden part-time at night and is a candidate to earn his Juris Doctorate in January 2010. Amar is a graduate of Vineland High School in Vineland, NJ and received his Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice and Economics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ in 2004.
Amar lived in India for 10 years prior to moving back to the United States, and is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati. He is a resident of Sicklerville, NJ and is an avid Philadelphia area sports fan. His practical experience working as Paralegal and Law Clerk along with his clinical experience in law school has prepared him to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in the near future.
